In the days of mega franchising celebrities, Beyoncé Knowles isn’t one to be left out. The Bootylicious singer/actress/designer is up to her marketing tricks again. Some of you may remember the True Star cologne line that partnered Knowles with Tommy Hilfiger. She is also a L’Oreal spokeswoman. Now you can add Armani to her long list of credentials. "Giorgio Armani is proud to announce that Beyoncé will be the face and voice of Emporio Armani Diamonds, a new fragrance due to be unveiled next autumn”, the label has announced. Beyoncé has been a walking billboard for Armani recently, performing at his Spring 2007 fashion show at London Fashion Week and wearing his gowns at the Oscars and the Grammys. She’s expected to record a classic song for the scent and will appear in print and TV ads. With all the glamorous attention she is getting, Beyoncé is keeping it real on the image front. “You should be thinking about building up your character and having fun, not how much you weigh”, she told the Daily Mirror. Knowles had a widely publicized 20 pound weight drop for Dreamgirls, but she still stands by her curves.
